Future culture

In the morning, we drove on to Timisoara.

The most impressive building of the city was the Orthodox church.

There were many historic buildings but most didn‘t look attractive because they were worn down.

Not even the tourist office had any great recommendations on what to do in Timisoara. So we just got some chocolate cake (a bit too sweet!) on our walk through the city.

Later, we read that Timisoara will be the next European Capital of Culture in 2023. Maybe all that special culture is still in progress and will only show in the future…
