Ancient cities

Together with Diego and his girlfriend Lucia, we visited the medieval city Grazzano Visconti. There was a medieval festival: many people in costumes, horses, jokers, flag jugglers, a smith, archery, wooden games. The many rose bushes made the city even more beautiful.

We went on to Bobbio, crossed a Roman bridge (Ponte Vecchio) and hiked down to the river. We enjoyed dipping our feet in and cooling our mosquito bites. Also Bobbio was a pretty medieval city. We visited churches, a monestry, the fortress, where a flower and crafting market took place.

We had very delicious ice-cream – only 2€ for 2 scoops – and again pizza. Better than last night, but we had to wait forever!
