It was amazing how close we got to the rocks in the narrowest passage of the day, near Marstrand.
By chance, we took a climbing route up to ‚Carlsten Fortress‘ with amazing views on the archipelago.
It was already not easy to find the entrance of the 17th-century fortress.
But in the many walkways and even secret tunnels of the fortress, we lost orientation completely.
It was totally exciting to explore this maze and discover hidden chambers everywhere.
In the afternoon, we considered ourselves „done“ with Marstrand. We had visited the most important sights: the fortress, the playground, well, and the church was closed. So we spontaneously decided to go on to Skärhamn.
