Bern

We arrived at Bern’s ‘Zytglogge’ (time bell) close to 12 o’clock – perfect timing to hear a nice melody and watch little figures moving.

Alan checked out ‘Le Creuset’ pots and pans. The girls played with tiny colourful kitchen ware. The seller gave us the hint we could find a playpark by a church at the end of the street.

When we walked there, we kept switching between the road (all for pedestrians) and arcades in the buildings on both sides of the street.

After some time exploring the city, we rewarded ourselves with some Swiss chocolate from ‘Sprüngli’ because some broken chocolate pieces were “only” 50 Euro/kg =oD We decided on white chocolate with raspberries and dark chocolate with blackberries or pepper – very special!
