Notre Dame de Beauvoir

We climbed up the narrow serpentines through the little city Moustiers-Sainte Marie. Cafés had hardly any space to put out chairs. Above the city, we found a parking spot not too far from the cobble stone staircase leading up to the chapel ‘Notre dame de Beauvoir’.

Munching her ‘Knäckebrot’, Erna tripped on the uneven ground and ripped her pantyhose *ouch* I also slipped on the way down. Thanks to Magda, holding my hand, I didn’t fall.

After the little chapel, still on the mountain top, we followed signs to a “cave”. The hike was not easy with only a narrow rocky trail. We were disappointed by a small cavern with some holy figures behind a fence.

Unfortunately, we noticed too late that we must have lost one of Erna’s shoes in the parking area =o(
