Yosemite – Hetch Hetchy Reservoir

a very intensive day in terms of nature sights

At Hetch Hetchy, we hiked on a rocky trail, unfortunately mostly in the hot sun – after crossing an impressive dam.

Fortunately, we were the only visitors at the gorgeous, powerful, and interestingly splitting Wapama Falls.

In this heat we enjoyed getting soaked by the splashing water. The natural air conditioning helped us cool down a little.

We jogged back the 2.5 miles of the trail in 50 min *impressive*

By putting Supar in his backpack we were able to hide him from the rangers.

The cooling of the van’s engine started leaking *oh-oh*
