Hume Lake

Since we had taken forever to find a reasonably priced gas station, we were running pretty late. I still insisted on taking at least a brief swim in Hume Lake in Kings Canyon National Park.

The nice swimming experience was definitely worth the additional delay: The water was cool, shallow, rather clean and the sand was mixed with golden dust (iron purite). Supar swam for the first time, mostly without assistance.
