Lemon City

On winding but very picturesque serpentines, we went to Amalfi. There, some very strong wind welcomed us. However, in the sun, it turned out to be super hot.

For breakfast, we enjoyed spectacular views: blue sea, steep cliffs.

We didn’t expect the city to be so popular, especially among British people.

Apparently, the most famous thing were lemons. Squeezing through the large amount of tourists, the many shops along the streets conveyed a proper lemon hype even: You could get lemon sorbet served in a huge lemon; lemon liquor; lemon soap; lemon hard candy, cookies, chocolate; dresses, aprons, underwear with lemon pattern…
